I read. I write. I take pictures.

I am a writer, editor and translator. I don't remember the place where I was born, but I spent most of my childhood in Mexico City, and a long time living in Vancouver. I am currently based in Quebec City.

I have an MFA in creative writing from the University of BC. Before that I studied journalism and sociology.

My work has appeared in Can'tLit, Descant, Event, and elsewhere. Sporadically I contribute to SNEEZE, Canada's oversized, street-skate culture magazine.

Lately I've been listening to Blancmange, China Crisis, Japan and Ultravox.
